Tarrytown is a neighborhood located less than 2 miles west of Downtown Austin, Texas. The neighborhood is known for it's beautiful oak trees that line the streets and is bordered by Lake Austin on the west, West 35th Street on the north and Mopac Expressway on the east.

The homes in the neighborhood range from 1950s bungalows and ranches to new construction estates. Single family home prices range from $1,000,000 upward.

Tarrytown has two shopping centers: Tarrytown Center and Casis Village, both of which feature local businesses like Estilo, Tarrytown Pharmacy, Food Food & Randalls. Also, a brand new H-E-B opened on Lake Austin Boulevard. The neighborhood is zoned to exemplary Casis Elementary, O'Henry Middle School & Austin High School. Neighborhood preschools include WAYA, Good Shepherd, Tarrytown Methodist & Tarrytown Preschool. 

West Austin Youth Association, located at the corner of Enfield & Exposition offers organized sports for all-aged kids. Tarrytown Dance offers dance classes for preschoolers up to adult ages. 

Many residents frequent the many parks, including Reed Park, Tarrytown (Triangle) Park & Mayfield Park (where you can find peacocks wandering the grounds). 

Deep Eddy Pool is a spring-fed watering hole, where Austinites bask in the sun and take a dip in the constant 68 degree water. Also along the waterfront are restaurants like Hula Hut, Mozarts and Quincé, as well as 68 degrees and Pool Burger. We can't forget about the newest gathering spot, Flo's with it's delicious pizza and wine.
